These are timeless and profound metaphors. The Grand-Mother Spider serves as a Technologist, Matriarch, and Advocate. We each see ourselves as that Man In Maze, discerning our life pathways from Birth, Life, to Death. The Blue of the River flows through the Maze, representing our challenging task of discerning Truth and the Responsibility of Action. In this journey, we gather in our networks' web all salient data, weighing analysis and assessment of options, including choices for action. This reflects the nuance and craft present in the work of Sustaining Indigenous Innovation, much like the intricate designs of a Choctaw Nation Master Artist or the beauty found in dg artwork. The Resilience lies in our ability to continually choose to return to Our ‘Indigeneity,’ embracing Cultural Collaboration and celebrating the talent of Indigenous Master Artists through expressive forms like Single Line Artwork.
